In some earlier posts you mentioned that its important for first dates to be easy and low stress. However, I live in a somewhat rural area which means that I commonly end up driving 1 or 2 hours to meet people. I don't mind the drive so much, but it seems like the distance puts a lot of pressure on my date because she knows I am coming a long way just to see her. How can I approach the first date to ease this tension a bit? Should I try to get her to meet me half way, rather than driving the whole distance myself?
